Convenient “Events”

Timeline, Abu Ghraib.

“W” (Conservative) was running against Senator John Kerry (Liberal).

We were at WAR.

A case was being presented by a happy band of lawyering-up, lawyers, intent on proving why the rule of law would prove victor against all ills, and why peaceful negotiation and “lawyering” is always the best route to take.

2004.

Move the Queen down the chessboard eight years.

In that interim, we had four more years of “W”, (and, incidentally, four more years of war); we has had (or almost had, or almost “were” had in) four years of B.O.

Well, here we are again.

FLASH-BACK.

Its 2004, all over again.

Those mean old American soldiers are once again up to their dastardly deeds, and (of course) it is that soul-less bunch of Republicans who back their rouge-ish behavior.

How convenient.

A case can now be made for brutality and barbarism against America, against the Corps, against Republicans and Conservatives in general.

I wonder if anyone had thought yet of doing a background check on this bunch of undisciplined, pee-happy Marines?

I’m thinking Southside of Chicago, myself.

Badest part of town.

Doesn’t really matter.

They may not be “plants”.

But it is the election season.

And Marines, for the most part, are an extremely disciplined bunch.

I don’t think it likely that they would repeat what their brethren in the Army pulled at GITMO.

But then, a lawyer would say they deserve the benefit of the doubt.
